The assessment cycle in Colorado is every odd year, which means you recently received your new assessment of value.  The current appraisal date is June 30, 2018 based on sales from 7/1/2016-6/30/2018.  Colorado law does not allow assessors to use current sales, rental rates, or vacancies. The assessor does not determine taxes.  You may appeal your valuation until June 3rd, 2019.   We will be meeting with assessor personnel the week of May 6th to review in advance valuation methods and to discuss the current unique variables existing within Brooks Tower.  If you would like us to review your valuation, please bring your statement and visit with one of our brokers prior to the June 3rd deadline.
