Denver Neighborhood

Lodo
Denver Neighborhoods

Lower-Downtown was once a non-descript area bumping into Union Station on one side and fading into the 16th Street Mall on the other. Now anchored by Coors Field, Lodo has become a popular destination in central Denver. Unique restaurants and happenin’ nightlife keep this area busy all year long.

Ballpark

North, east and west of Coors Field is the Ballpark neighborhood. Converted warehouses and traditional brick buildings highlight the historic feel of this once rundown area revitalized by Denver’s entry into Major League Baseball. Recent construction of the Diamond Lofts and Premier Lofts joins the Ballpark, Silver State and Walnut Lofts already enjoying record-breaking occupancy rates.

Prospect Place

This ambitious neighborhood is taking shape west of Coors Field. Dana Crawford is once again redefining the Denver landscape with a new vision of urban living that includes eye-catching living spaces located around a central plaza. Considered a part of Ballpark neighborhood and tucked in between 20th Avenue to the south and Park to the north, existing residences include Ajax Lofts, Jack Kerouac Lofts, Watertower Lofts , Flourmill and The Metro with Inca 29 and Tomboy coming soon.

Platte River Valley and Riverfront

Union Station west to the Platte River includes a mix of high-rise condominiums and apartments. Glass House, One Riverfront, The Manhattan, and The Promenade mix the convenience of city living with the great expanse of Denver’s famous parks.

River North

A gateway to Downtown Denver from the north, Brighton Boulevard follows the trains and the river into the city. While only The Jefferson at CityGate has been completed, the area’s character and convenience holds great promise. Taxi is currently under construction and proposals for Denargo Market, Brighton Flats and Railyard Marketplace are in the works.

Capitol Hill

East of the Capitol building lies an eclectic area featuring diverse housing choices and demographics. Revitalized blocks are mixed in with older buildings and businesses such as the Tattered Cover lend a new air of respectability to the area. A growing number of developers and builders are investigating Capitol Hill’s potential.

Golden Triangle

Southwest of the Civic Center, Museum and State Capitol is the classy Golden Triangle. Some of Denver’s most spectacular new condominiums including The Beauvallon, the Museum Lofts, The Belvedere and The Prado add to the Denver skyline. Hosting great views of the city and accessibility to Downtown and Cherry Creek, the Golden Triangle also features fantastic art galleries and one-of-a-kind restaurants.

Silver Triangle Convention & Theatre District

When Denver was the world silver mining capital, the Mining Exchange, located at the intersection of 15th Street and Curtis, handled all major transactions. Brooks Tower now stands on this storied location and overlooks an area encompassing the new Denver Convention Center, Buell Theatre, Auditorium Theater and the Denver Center for the Performing Arts.

Uptown

East of the Financial District on 17th Street, known as the Wall Street of the West, is Uptown. Home to some of the most popular Denver restaurants, the area now includes a mix of high and mid-rise condominiums, multi-family communities, and early 1900s row homes. Highlighted by the landmark 100 Park Avenue project, Tower on the Park, Denver Square, The Marais, and Grant Park are defining this area’s historic ambience.

City Park

East from Uptown, the landscape changes from skyscraper to parkland. City Park includes the Museum of Nature & Science, Gates Planetarium, and the Denver Zoo. Wide-open expanses include a mix of classic Denver homes with new-build single-residence developments including The Pinnacle and Wonderland.

16th Street Mall and the Central Business District

Downtown Denver

Denver’s true center – the 16th Street Mall moves people through shopping, entertainment and business districts. Loft living at Neusteters, Denver Dry Lofts, 1020 Lofts, and Midland Lofts competes with the “Big-Four” high-rise condominiums: Brooks Tower, Larimer Place, The Barclay and The Windsor. Be sure to check out the offerings on the "1020 Lofts" which can be easily accessed at http://www.1020lofts.com.

Five Points

Riding along Welton Street just north of Downtown Denver, is the historic district between 25th and 28th Streets. This bustling area once housed Denver’s jazz circuit and still reflects its African-American heritage in its businesses and restaurants. Located on Denver’s new light rail between Curtis Park and Whittier, developer interest is renewing and reviving.

Whittier Park

If you missed out on the property value revolution in Washington Park, and Highlands has already exceeded your budget, look no further than Whittier. Denver Square Victorian Homes, Arts & Crafts, and Row Homes make up the classic architecture in this classic neighborhood.

Curtis Park
Nearly every type of architecture abounds in Curtis Park.  The traditional sits next to the latest in new design. With great proximity to Downtown Denver, dwellers looking for some of the classic, some of the new, and a lot of convenience are looking at Curtis Park.  Look at the Fireclay, Railyard Lofts, Bag Factory, and Merchants Row for existing homes.  Brand new and coming soon are Lombard Gate, The Urbans, Upper Larimer and Snowhite Lofts.
The Highland

According to many, it’s better than Washington Park with lower density, a view down the hill into Denver, and better preservation of its historical homes. On the west side of the “Valley Highway” or I-25, The Highland embodies the latest trend in city living with no signs of slowing down. New condos at Ayr Lofts, Tejon Square, Flats 15 are joining Wyandot Overlook, The Dakota, and Highland Crossing.

Jefferson Park

Directly north of Mile High Stadium is a pocket of homes, carefully-crafted condominium developments and classic restaurants surrounding a hidden park. Look for new multi-family condominiums at Zocalo, Riverclay and Cityscape in this area.
